Las Vegas Comedy Institute Teams with Hollywood Bound Acting Academy at The Studio

Beginning July in Las Vegas, The Hollywood Bound Acting Academy will relocate and share space with The Las Vegas Comedy Institute to offer even more workshops and classes at The Studio in Las Vegas, NV.

Hollywood Bound Acting Academy will join the Las Vegas Comedy Institute sharing space at The Studio to offer even more classes and workshops for those interested in classes and workshops in theater arts.

The Hollywood Bound Acting Academy, which is one of the most respected, advanced and premiere programs for preparing the beginning and advanced actor or model with the right education and skills necessary to start and compete in the business will move offices beginning June 29th.

The Las Vegas Comedy Institute is the brainchild of Award Winning Comedian, Second City Conservatory Graduate, Author, Filmmaker, Comedy Club Booker, Consultant and Comedy Coach Don Barnhart. "Our goal is to teach, coach and encourage you to break through your comfort levels to achieve your highest potential and find the funny."

The Las Vegas Comedy Institute specializes in stand up, improv and comedy writing workshops along with acting, voice over, sketch and public speaking classes.

Kicking off the merger, The Studio will also host a SAG Conservatory Master Acting Workshop July 18th with Don Barnhart Sr, the director of Mork & Mindy, Saved by the Bell and much more. Barnhart Sr, will then be teaching an ongoing workshop for actors at The Las Vegas Comedy Institute founded by his son, award-winning comedian Don Barnhart Jr.

Barnhart Sr began his distinctive career as a disc jockey and spent 10 years in the radio business before making the leap to television. Working on "General Hospital" he logged in 1000 episodes and "never called in sick", he joked. The "The Sonny and Cher Show" followed that.

Barnhart worked on numerous TV music specials with stars such as Johnny Cash and Frank Sinatra. Other credits also include "McCloud," "The Bionic Woman," and "Beretta."

Don Barnhart Sr will offer his workshops beginning Tuesday July 21st.
