The cast of Evil Dead: The Musical at V Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is in the process of recording a live cast recording CD. This is the only CD of the show that will exist outside of the original Off-Broadway cast recording, and a lot of time and energy has gone into capturing on this CD the energy and party atmosphere of the live show. This weekend the attention of the CD engineers turns to the audience, who they'll be recording both Friday and Saturday to use on the CD.

"This is one of those things that don't happen very often to anyone," said Sirc Michaels, producer and director of EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL. "We are giving fans a chance to be a part of EVIL DEAD history, while at the same time sharing an experience with them that is exciting for us and marks another step up for our production."

The performances on Friday 1/17 and Saturday 1/18 will be recorded. Fans are encouraged to buy their tickets early to ensure they get the seats they want, as demand has already started to spike for tickets for these shows.

Evil Dead: The Musical is a unique production that combines multimedia, live performance, audience participation and 4D elements to take audience members into its world. From undead ushers to blood spraying out into the audience, this musical comedy is bringing a new type of entertainment to the Vegas Strip, and the people behind it are determined to make a lasting impression. Performances can be seen at the V Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino every Friday at 10 p.m. and Saturday at 11:30 p.m.
