Internationally acclaimed entertainer, Deana Martin, pays homage to her iconic Dad while setting her own standard for exemplary showmanship in Deana Martin in a Tribute to Her Father Dean Martin at the Suncoast Showroom, July 24 and 25.
For two evenings at the Suncoast Showroom, Martin will be singing songs from the Great American Songbook. In delivering her father's songs "Everybody Loves Somebody," "Memories Are Made of This" and "That's Amore," Martin plans to capture the same "Studio A" magic her father and Rat Pack pals embodied.Growing up surrounded by the Hollywood elite, it could be said singing is in her blood. In 2005, Martin came back to the concert stage on her tour Deana Sings Dino playing to sold-out crowds around the world. A year later she released a top-selling album of Standards of Jazz titled, Memories Are Made of This that remained on the Top-10 charts for over 40 weeks. Following her album and a successful tour, she used her business savvy to found Deana at Capitol Studios where she recorded her most recent album Volare. In 2009, the album burst onto the Billboard Heat Seeker chart at #7, Billboard's Top Jazz Albums chart at #22, and appeared on iTunes Top 10 chart.Videos
