Last night, June 16, 2014, the Las Vegas Company of Jersey Boys attended an advance screening of the film adaptation of the hit musical directed by Clint Eastwood at AMC Town Square. Based on the Tony Award-winning musical, and one of the most highly anticipated films of the summer, Jersey Boys brings to life to the big screen the story of four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who came together to form the iconic 1960s rock group The Four Seasons.
The film features John Lloyd Young as "Frankie Valli," former Las Vegas Company member Erich Bergen as "Bob Gaudio," Michael Lomenda and Vincent Piazza as "Nick Massi" and "Tommy DeVito," and Oscar winner Christopher Walken starring as mobster "Gyp DeCarlo." The film also features a variety of actors who began their careers performing in the six productions of Jersey Boys worldwide.
Now in its seventh year on the Strip, Jersey Boys continues to receive awards and accolades including recently being named "Best Show" by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
