The incomparable Reva Rice will make her solo debut at Cabaret Jazz at The Smith Center with her all new show Song Bird, a musical journey through the American songbook for two performances only on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 2:30 pm and 7:00 pm.

Under the Artistic Direction of Berndard H. Gaddis and Musical Supervision of Jimmy Locket, the evening will also feature special guest star, Broadway's Brent Barrett, who was last seen as the "Phantom" at the Venetian.

Reva will take the audience down memory lane with classic popular songs from Broadway and the popular American songbook, from the 1950s through today. From Gershwin to Broadway to pop classics, Reva Rice's Song Bird becomes a classic jukebox through time and musical genres.

Currently starring in David Saxe's production Vegas! The Show nightly at the Saxe Theatre inside the Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood, Reva has won BroadwayWorld.com Awards for "Best Leading Actress in a Musical" for two consecutive years in a row for her acclaimed performance.

Reva's vast Broadway, national and international starring credits include Starlight Express, Fosse and Chicago, as well as Smokey Joe's Café ad Oprah Winfrey's The Color Purple. In addition, Reva has worked side by side with such luminaries as Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Gloria Estefan, Rita Rudner, Michael Crawford Barry Manilow. Trevor Nunn, Anne Reinking, Gwenn Verdon, and Patrick Swayze, among many others. Rice also credits her guest appearance at the Royal Variety Performance for the Duke and Duchess of Wales as one of her career highlights.

National and international touring brought her two consecutive nominations for the prestigious Helen Hayes Award alongside fellow nominees Tyler Perry and Judith Light. Her numerous Las Vegas credits include performing with Tony Award winner Billy Porter, Stephen Oremus, Chaka Khan, Melissa Manchester, and Peabo Bryson in the Stevie Wonder musical Signed, Sealed, Delivered at the Venetian and as featured singer in Wayne Brady's show Making Sh*# up!

Reva also won acclaim as the hysterically funny "Lady of the Lake" in Monty Pythons Spamalot at the WYNN Hotel.

Reva Rice's SONG BIRD performs on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm at Cabaret Jazz at The Smith Center (361 Symphony Park Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89106). Tickets range from $26 - $36 + taxes and fees and can be purchased at the Smith Center Box Office, online at www.TheSmithCenter.com or by calling 702-749-2000. Follow Reva on Twitter @RevasTweet.
