Variety reports that Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS's racy, popular benefit series "Broadway Bares" may be headed for Sin City.

"The venture has been so successful that (Jerry) Mitchell and producer Scott Zeiger have plans to retitle it 'Peep Show' and take it to Las Vegas for a sit-down commercial production at one of the casinos," states the article.

The last edition of the series - "Broadway Bares XVII: Myth Behavior" - was a great success, raising a record-shattering $743,787 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The previous record was set in 2006, with $659,500 raised. The first "Broadway Bares" – at which founder Mitchell (Legally Blonde, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Hairspray) and six friends danced for tips at a bar in Chelsea - raised $8,000 in 1991. Since then, 17 editions of "Broadway Bares" have collectively raised over $4. 8 million to benefit BC/EFA.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) is the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fund raising and grant making organization. BC/EFA is the on-going, committed response from the American theater community to an urgent worldwide health crisis. By drawing upon the talents, resources and generosity of this community, BC/EFA raises funds for AIDS-related causes across the United States. Since it's founding in 1988, BC/EFA has raised over $130 million for critically needed services for people with AIDS, HIV, or HIV-related illnesses.

Junior companies of "Broadway Bares," according to Variety, have also raised money for BC/EFA, with casts of touring productions putting on shows in US cities.
