Britney Spears Inks 2-Year Deal to Perform at Vegas' Planet Hollywood

According to the Las Vegas Sun, Britney Spears has inked a deal with Planet Hollywood Las Vegas to perform at the hotel for a two-year run.

Construction will begin early next week for a new theater for the popstar at a reported cost of $20 million. The resort plans to demolish it's current theater which has a 7,400 seating capacity and replace it with a smaller venue which will accomodate up to 4,500. The renovation is expected to be complete in time for Spears' upcoming New Year's Eve debut show at the hotel.
