Registration begins Monday, March 14 at 5 p.m. for the March Hoopla Pick the Winners college basketball contest at The Orleans, Sam's Town, Suncoast, Gold Coast, California and Fremont with a prize pool totaling $16,000. The contest is free and open to all B Connected cardholders.

To participate, players are required to select their picks in person at any Boyd Gaming kiosk for each game once the advancing teams have been determined; totaling 10 card picks throughout the contest. The player with the highest cumulative points submitted from the cards played will be awarded $10,000 for first place. Second and third place will receive $5,000 and $1,000 respectively.

"With no point spread, B Connected players will have the opportunity to pick winners straight up - putting the ball in their court," said Bob Scucci, Director of Race and Sports for Boyd Gaming.

Co-sponsored by Miller Lite, contest players will receive a coupon for $2 off an 18-pack of Miller Lite bottles at local Rebel Oil gas stations with each card pick. Scucci added that while at Rebel, B Connected cardholders receive 5 cents off per gallon, up to 15 gallons, with their player's card.

Players can register at any of the select kiosks at all participating resorts including: The Orleans, Sam's Town, Suncoast, Gold Coast, California and Fremont. March Hoopla Pick the Winners is open to all B Connected cardmembers and membership is free. The contest begins on Monday, March 14 at 5 p.m. and will continue through the championship game on April 4.

For further information, see the B Connected Club or any of the select properties' race and sports book.
