Bill Fayne and Friends Bring A Sondheim Celebration To Suncoast Showroom

Bill Fayne and Friends: A Sondheim Celebration will pay tribute to musical theatre legend Stephen Sondheim with performances at the Suncoast Showroom, October 8 and 9, each evening at 7:30 p.m.

The musical homage features dozens of singers and a seven-piece orchestra, performing tunes from Sondheim's canon of shows, including "West Side Story," "Gypsy," "A Funny Thing Happened on The Way to The Forum," "A Little Night Music," "Follies," "Sweeney Todd," "Anyone Can Whistle," "Sunday in the Park with George" and "Passion."

The cast is made up of many of Las Vegas' best performers, including (alphabetically): Lysander Abadia, James Allen, Doug Baker, Michealina Bellamy, Robin Berry-Vincent, Natalie Carson, Kelly Clinton-Holmes, Christie Copeland, Vita Corimbi, Teddy Davey, Lisa Davis, George DeMott, Bill Fayne, Felice Garcia, Mark Giovi, Lydia Gladstone, Jay Joseph, Richel Komst, Ellen Lawson, Benjamin Loewy, Dana Martin, Margaret Menzies, Lisa Smith, Ron Smith, Gayle Steele, Sydney Story, Mollie Tennant and Kara Van Aschwege.

In addition to performing, Fayne serves as the musical director and creator, with musical staging by Natalie Carson and Ed Mathews as producer.
