Pole Show LA is returning to Las Vegas with an over-the-top production featuring pole dancers showcasing choreography, aerialists, athleticism and sex appeal. The cutting edge show will be performed at House of Blue Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay on Sept. 8.
Leigh Ann Reilly is the producer of Pole Show L.A. and will emcee the show with a goal to bring sexy to Las Vegas. Owner of the famous Pole Dance Studio, Bespun, in Hollywood, California; she is one of the pioneers of the Pole Dance Movement.
"Over 70 percent of my audience is female," Reilly told BroadwayWorld.com. "The big pole dancing convention is in town as well and we perform one night during that event. But I want to emphasize that this is a different kind of production that everyone will enjoy."
She has been working in the industry for over 10 years combining sexy dance with athletic moves. Reilly was a child actress and gymnast and embraced the dirty dancing routines as she grew up. While she was discouraged from continuing, Reilly wanted to develop ways for women to embrace their sensuality. Pole dancing combines acrobatics, sensual moves, dance and athletics.
"I trained in circus camp when I was younger and I am always an entertainer. This really combines all aspects of who I am and what I want to project and celebrate."
Pole Show LA is not a strip club with one dancer but a full production with spectacular costumes and lighting combined with choreography and music. Ensemble routines are part of the show with unique visuals and elaborate routines. "I want to change people's perception on what pole dancing can be and how it is part of entertainment."
World-renowned pole dancers Bendy Kate, Kira Niore, Evgeny Grisholv, Natasha Wang, Carly Child, Lawrance Hilsom, Nicholas Casanova, Brandon Grimm, Elena Anishchenko, Maddie Sparkle and Michelle Shimmy will also be part of the performance.
