Broadway veteran and Las Vegas entertainer Travis Cloer is ready to celebrate with the return of his holiday spectacular, "Christmas At My Place," at The Italian American Club on Dec. 3.
In 2015, he debuted his orchestrated holiday album of the same name. Cloer moved to Las Vegas to perform as Frankie Valli in "Jersey Boys" on the Strip and has chosen to remain in Vegas. The holidays are a special time for this very talented and very busy performer.
Co-producer of the album Keith Thompson (PK Entertainment) is also the founder of The Composers Showcase of Las Vegas, and co-producer of "The Cocktail Cabaret" at Caesars Palace. Thompson met Cloer when he was the musical director "Jersey Boys."
As for the album, "It has been really fun. There is an original song by Keith and one original song by me. My family is a part of it, performers from Broadway in the Hood and the Children's Choir are also on it and I am so proud of it."
The festive show has been a partnership between Cloer and Jeanne Barvaro (co-producer), who have worked together on the Christmas show for the past six years.
"My show, 'Christmas At My Place,' is a time for people to come, relax and forget about all of the crazy stuff and have the old-time holiday special feel," Cloer explains. "Come to celebrate the holidays with me. It is a very intimate show, and just like sitting around a piano and having some Christmas fun with family and friends."
There will be new arrangements, great classic songs, and his family might even come on stage.
"Christmas At My Place" will be performed at The Italian American Club located at 2333 E. Sahara Ave. at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 3. Tickets for this one-night-only performance can be purchased by calling call the Italian American Club at (702) 457-3866.
