Last night (Oct. 26, 2018), the raucous assistant to The Gazillionaire, Wanda Widdles orchestrated an unforgettable parade, bringing the stars of the Las Vegas Strip into the famous Spiegelworld tent in celebration of 4,000 performances of ABSINTHE.
At the end of last night's 10 p.m. show, Wanda Widdles appeared centerstage to share news of the milestone with the sold-out audience and to announce her finale celebration surprise for The Gazillionaire. Soon, dozens of street buskers and questionable characters - including Darth Vader, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Elmo, a handful of past-their-prime Playboy Bunnies, and more - rushed the aisles of the center-Strip, adults-only circus to recognize Gaz's invaluable contributions to the city. The finale was topped off with the presentation of a magnificent three-tiered cake from Las Vegas' own Freed's Bakery.
"For tax reasons, I've been obliged to pay Wanda one penny for her services at each performance of ABSINTHE," said The Gazillionaire. "Who knew she had been saving them up, and now she's spent all $40 on an idiot parade to celebrate my 4,000th performance in Las Vegas. Thanks...I guess?"
Recently proclaimed "The #1 Greatest Show in Las Vegas History," ABSINTHE is an intoxicating cocktail of circus, burlesque and vaudeville for a 21st century, adults-only audience. Not for the faint-hearted, these ridiculously talented and sexy performers from across the globe mix outrageous comedy with jaw-dropping feats of virtuosity and danger for a one-of-a-kind performance. ABSINTHE will celebrate its eighth year in Las Vegas in April 2019.
