The Gazillionaire and the cast of ABSINTHE at Caesars Palace welcomes high wire heiress Lijana Wallenda-Hernandez to the stage now through May 1. Wallenda is a seventh generation member of the world-renowned circus family, the Flying Wallendas and great grand-daughter of the legendary Karl Wallenda.

According to press notes, Wallenda embodies the vision of a Greek Goddess, adding fabulous tricks to ABSINTHE’s death-defying act. Wallenda will take to the sky as she joins the Esteemed Gentlemen of the High Wire, temporarily filling in for her husband Tony Hernandez

ABSINTHE’s The Gazillionaire explained his rationale for adding Wallenda to the act, "I was getting bored with watching the sausage party that the Gentlemen of the High Wire had become. I have to watch that crap every night. So I sent Tony on a little detox vacation. The chugging of the bottle of Jack Daniels every night is taking its toll on him. So I hired his wife Lijana. She is a seventh generation wire walker and is so much more talented than him, so it's good. Oh yeah – she is also waaaay hotter!"

Wallenda began her high wire career at the age of 13 and has performed in various circuses nationwide. In 2001, Wallenda and her brother helped their family break the Guinness World Record for the four-level, eight-person pyramid atop a high wire in Osaka, Japan.

Wallenda has also performed in a variety of ChicaGo Productions including Hephaestus: A Greek Mythology Circus Tale at Lookingglass Theatre, and The Flying Griffin Circus and The Flying Griffin Circus: All the Time in the World at the Actors Gymnasium. Wallenda also designed and created the costumes for Hephaestus and All the Time in the World, and co-designed the outfits for Lookingglass Alice. In addition, Wallenda co-founded Silverguy Entertainment with Hernandez, a live action theatrical circus company that creates customized entertainment for corporate events and various social gatherings.
