The Black Box will host the KC Horror Play Festival and Spooky Sh!t Show from October 29 to November 1, showcasing a blend of chilling tales and campy humor. The lineup includes eight short horror plays, carefully crafted by local writers and directed by Erika Lynnette Baker and Chris M. Arnone. Derek Trautwein’s Spooky Sh!t Show brings an 80's-themed twist, featuring familiar characters in a mix of humor and horror. Audiences can attend separate performances or enjoy a double feature on Halloween night and November 1, along with a maker market and a costume contest on special nights.
