Strange Victory in assoc with Out To Lunch presents
Josie Long: The Future Is Another Place:
Fosters Comedy Award Nominee 2011
Josie Long is back again with her fifth solo show. Come along! This is a show about feeling newly tormented by the world around you and about optimism and despair. But that sounds more serious than it is. It'll be a silly, manic round up of all kinds of things. It will probably have a play in it where I play every one of the Bronte's too, if that's your bag? The show has two clear aims:
1. Fight some sort of a cool gang or something.
2. Fight injustice.
***** "Josie Long's new show couldn't be any better. It's honest, intelligent, funny, and it's exactly what Britain needs right now... Josie Long is poised to become the most important voice in British comedy" THE SKINNY
**** "Halting, raw but amusingly self-aware... she's on an interesting journey, and its a delight to go with her" SUNDAY TIMES
**** Truly compelling... absolutely hilarious" EVENING STANDARD
**** "Long strikes an adroit balance between fun, moral outrage and indignant mockery of our hideous powers-that-be" THE GUARDIAN
**** "A rollicking, happy hour that flies by, offering plenty of food for thought and enough laughter to guarantee a tummy ache" THE SCOTSMAN
