Lawrence Opera Theatre returns to the elegant Castle Tea Room, offering an intimate parlor concert to celebrate Franz Schubert’s 220th birthday. "A Schubert Serenade" is a celebration of some of his most loved works, from the angst of "Gretchen am Spinnrade" to the epic ride of "Erlkönig." The second half of the program features selections from the season's fully-staged opera, "The Magic Flute. The evening includes an intermission wine & dessert reception.
