Direct from Washington, D.C., the U.S. Army Chorus, the vocal counterpart of the U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own"; Union Station officials; members of military community, media and public.
Conducted by Major Leo Peña, the Chorus was formed in 1956 as the vocal counterpart of the United States Army Band, "Pershing's Own". Along with performances for presidents, visiting dignitaries and heads of state, the Chorus has appeared in our nation's most prominent halls... And now, Union Station will be added to the list!
Some 650,000 men and women in uniform passed through Union Station during World Wars I and II. And on this centennial anniversary of the United States' entry into the Great War, it is our pleasure to include everyone to our audience. This is a patriotic occasion to pause in remembrance and celebration of those who have served and continue to serve.
