Unicorn Theatre's 36th season of BOLD NEW PLAYS continues with Farragut North by Beau Willimon opening November 13th. This behind-the-scenes look at politics focuses on Stephen, a 25-year-old hotshot press secretary, who has built a career that men twice his age envy. During a tight presidential primary, however, the backroom scheming of more seasoned operatives and a seductive teen staffer eclipse his meteoric rise. A viewing portal into the world of politics, Farragut North is an intriguing story of loyalty, lust for power and the high cost of success. This is the first of three co-productions between Unicorn Theatre and UMKC Theatre. These co-productions allow for graduate student actors and designers to work right along with professionals. Future Unicorn and UMKC Theatre Co-Productions this season include Miss Witherspoon and the world premiere of Green Whales.

FARRAGUT NORTH runs November 13th through December 13th with previews on November 11th and 12th. The show plays Tuesdays through Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 3:00pm. There is a Saturday Matinee at 3:00pm on November 14th and 28th. There is no show on November 26th in observance of Thanksgiving. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by calling 816-531-PLAY (7529), online at www.UnicornTheatre.org or at the box office located at 3828 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64111.
