Chicago has been wowing Broadway audiences for over 14 years. Honored with 6 Tony Awards, 2 Olivier Awards, a Grammy and thousands of standing ovations, Theatre Lawrence brings this Kander and Ebb musical to the Lawrence stage beginning June 10.
This universal tale of fame, fortune and all that jazz offers one show-stopping-song after another and great dancing. The Lawrence production features an area-wide cast with Amber Dickinson as Velma Kelly and Kassidee Quaranta as Roxie. Michael Hagen takes the role of Billy, Dennis Tyner is husband Amos, Stephanie Schuttera plays Mama Morton and M.A. Meyers is Mary Sunshine.
The Merry Murderesses will be played by Alicia Barlow, Jennifer Forman, Kayla Motley, Secily Rees, Kim Scarbrough and Mary Caitland Williams. Members of the men's ensemble include Mario Bonilla, Michael Dieker, Peter Hansen, Muncel Jones, Bob Newton, Jacob Schooler, Nick Strole, and Max Wick.
The show is under the direction of Mary Doveton with music direction by Mary Baker and choreography by Barb Wasson. Eleanor Patton has designed the costumes, Jack Riegle the set and Ron Chinn the lighting. Kennna Frankenfeld is assistant director.

In this family musical, young Jeremy Jacob is recruited by Captain Braid Beard and his mates to
help find the perfect spot for their treasure. Jeremy eagerly learns about a pirate's life through
songs "Talk Like a Pirate," "Soccer by the Rules," and "Pirates Dot Arggh." This is a delightful family
story of adventure and finding one's own heart.
