The Fishtank nurtures artists by providing space for development. When Lindsay reached out and said she wanted to stage a play she wrote, The Fishtank opened up its new communal space for her to use, providing place for Lindsay & company to stretch her legs as a playwright, director and producer.
Lindsay Lillig (Writer/Director) is immeasurably grateful to have the opportunity to produce her first original play through Fishtank Theatre. This is Lindsay's debut as both a director and a playwright. Previous acting credits include Molly in "Belfast Girls" (Fishtank Theatre), her award-winning performance as Doris in "The Hollow" (Theatre Palisades), and the title role in Euripides' "Medea" (UMKC Theatre).
"The Thought Of You" is her first play and will be at our new communal workspace at 1717 Wyandotte, Suite 200. Playing twice nightly till July 1.
