The Barn Players brings "Thoroughly Modern Millie" a high-spirited, zany musical romp, set in New York City in the height of the Roaring Twenties, to its stage in a fantastic production filled with frisky flappers, dashing leading men, outstanding music, bright dance numbers, romance and even a dragon-lady villainess. The play is a perfect blend of madcap music, dancing and entertainment for the entire family.
It's 1922 in New York City, an era when the rules of love and social behavior were changing and Millie Dillmount, from Salina, Kansas, arrives in the big city in search of a new life and a rich husband ... but, the man she falls in love with doesn't have a dime, so he tells her.
