"LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL", is the absolutely hilarious, stage musical, based on the movie and opens the 2016 season at The Barn Players Friday evening, February 26th; it's a fast paced, action packed play with memorable music, peppy dance numbers and so much fun it should be illegal!

Blonde bombshell Elle Woods enrolls in the Harvard Law School to earn a law degree just to prove she can to an ex-boy friend. The tons-of-fun musical explodes in an up-beat story of self-discovery and heart-warming events as the audience is taken from a sorority house to the hallowed halls of the Harvard Law School, proving that PINK can save the day and celebrating what you've got never goes out of style.

The play is directed and choreographed by Guy Gardner with musical direction by James Levy, featured in the cast are: Maggie Marx as Elle Woods, Zach Faust as Emmett, Kristen Altoro as Paulette, Jeremy Walterman as Warner, Kipp Simmons as Prof. Callahan, Cassie Sutherland as Vivienne, Whitney Armstrong as Brooke, Anne Haines as Enid, Ramsey Self as Serena, Natalie Baughman as Margot, and Kelsie Wilhoit as Pilar --- Delta Nus members include: Bridget Angles, Lauren Bridge, Natalie Dickter, Emmy Hadley and Kimberly Wood --- Male Ensemble members are Josh Arellano, Blane Brungardt, Max Mammele, Delano Mendoza, Julian Rivera and Brian Shortess ---- members of the Adult Ensemble are Jill Smith and Bill Wood.

"LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL" premieres the 61st consecutive season at The Barn Players and opens at the Barn Players, 6219 Martway in suburban Mission, Kansas Friday evening, February 26th playing through Sunday matinee, March 13th - Friday and Saturday evening performances at 7:30 with Sunday matinees at 2:00.

Tickets are $18.00 on the theatre website www.the barnplayers.org or at the theater box office the date of the performance - discounts for seniors and students; credit cards accepted. Season Flex- Passes are also available for the 2016 show season; get six shows for the price of five.
