Inspired by a true story, the award wining play "SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION" is the next production at the Barn Players, 6219 Martway in Mission, Kansas; playing from Friday, May 29th through Sunday, June 14th - Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 and Sunday matinees at 2:00.
The story: An affluent New York couple, who are upper class art dealers, find their lives touched, intruded upon and confused by a mysterious young black man who is never what or who he says he is. The young man tells the couple he is the son of actor Sidney Poitier, that he has just been mugged, has no money and that he knows their son in Harvard. Captivated they invite him to stay with them. The show is rated "R".
