The Barn Kids, grades 3-7, will present the Disney classic CINDERELLA-KIDS the evenings of June 17th, 18th and 19th at the Barn Players Theatre, 6219 Martway in Mission; curtain at 7:30 p.m. The production follows the first of two summer theatre workshops for the youngsters where they learn about theatre and stage presentations.
Disney's CINDERELLA-KIDS features a wonderful musical score including "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" and the classic "Bibbidi-Boppidi-Boo", all performed by the young cast. The show is rated "G" for all ages.
Poor Cinderella is mistreated by her sisters and step-mother and is denied a chance to go to the Royal Ball. But with a little help from her mice friends and Fairy Godmother, her dreams come true and she attends the Ball, meets the Prince and falls in love. With only a glass slipper the Prince scours the Kingdom to find the foot that it fits. Of course there is a happy ending as the curtain comes down and Cinderella and the Prince marry to live happily ever-after.
Diane Bulan will be the workshop and production director. She is a local director, an acting coach, a professional actor and stage manager, has appeared in TV commercials, films and industrial motion pictures and performs in schools through Kansas Young Audiences, she is a member of SAG.

Following a second Barn Kids summer theatre workshop a second production of "CINDERELLA-KIDS" will be presented July 22, 23 and 24th.
