Summit Theatre Group to Hold Dinner Gala, 11/15

The Summit Theatre Group will hold their Third Annual Dinner Gala, an evening of great food and great entertainment, on Saturday evening, November 15th at the beautiful Emaline Ballroom, 616 SW 3rd street, in Lees Summit; it's the theatre group's annual fund-raiser and is fast becoming one of Lees Summit's top annual social functions.

The Dinner Gala begins at 6 o'clock with a reception and silent auction - dinner buffet at 6:30 - at 7:30 the evening's program and entertainment featuring singers, dancers, music from the coming theatre holiday production of "THE Gifts of the Magi" and additional entertainment by many of the area's outstanding performers. ("The Gifts of the Magi" will play December 4-5 and 6 as a dinner theatre production at the Emaline Ballroom).

Tickets for the Summit Theater Group Dinner Gala are $75.00 (tables for 8 are $500) with a great evening of food, entertainment and music presented in renowned Lees Summit style. Funds raised will be used by the theatre group to present the 2015 show season and for production and related show expenses. The Summit Theatre Group is a 501-c-3 not-for-profit organization formed to bring live community theatre to Lees Summit.

President of The Summit Theatre Group is Ben Martin and Vice President is James Wright - both veterans of the arts and theatre, and both Lees Summit residents.
