Star struck police detective Lt. Cioffi (Dennis Tyner) has the entire company in lockdown at the theatre with two days to solve the murder and save the show.Among the showbiz suspects are a ruthless producer (Susan Hires) and her husband (Doug Wasson), a flamboyant director (Peter Hansen), a disgruntled stage manager (Rusty Coffman), a naïve ingénue (Amanda Thomas), and a lead dancer (Quinn Wasson). There's a songwriting team (Widge Yager and Michael Hagen) and even a critic (Chris Drahozal). A host of hot-headed actors include Kendra Verhage, Muncel Jones, Alex Krumins, JarEd Martin, Bob Newton, Melia Stockham, Rachel Strandt, Billy Clark and Kayla Motley.Lt. Cioffi soon finds himself in the middle of egos, eccentricities, and an unexpected romance. Will he find the killer? Will he save the show? Will love prevail?
This delightful musical comedy is studded with songs by Kander and Ebb (famed for Chicago). The show is under the direction of Jeff Montague, assisted by Kasey Fewins, music direction by Mary Baker and choreography by Barb Wasson. Costumes are by Lisa Greenwood, set by Jack Riegle and lighting by Kristina Banton.
