Starlight Theatre's 2013 Broadway Season will include flying cows, '80s dance craze, the ultimate con man, a little mermaid, rebellious teens, forbidden love and show-stopping musical numbers.
"Our 63nd season offers classics and new musicals; great drama and hilarious comedy. I'm personally very excited about the titles and types of musicals that will be presented on the Starlight stage next summer, and I think Kansas City and visitors will be too," said Denton Yockey, Starlight President and Executive Producer. "The 2013 Broadway Season will be an ambitious one with four Starlight premieres, three of which are also Kansas City premieres, and two Starlight favorites.
"Each season, we survey our subscribers and friends about the shows they would like to see in the future, and we take those results to heart. Starlight audiences tell us they are as diverse as Kansas City and want a season that reflects their distinct tastes, so that is what they will find at Starlight next summer. Our line up offers a lot of variety," he said.
