The Board of Directors and Artistic Director A.S. Freeman are thrilled to announce that longtime Rolla resident Laura Light has joined the staff as the company's Managing Director.
"Laura has been a vital volunteer and production team member at Ozark Actors Theatre for many years," OAT Artistic Director A.S. Freeman said, "I am thrilled to be working alongside her during this very exciting time in the rich history of this company."
While Freeman will continue to lead the Artistic side of the operation, Light will take on the business operations and volunteer efforts around Ozark Actors Theatre and the Cedar Street Playhouse.
The Playhouse, the home of Ozark Actors Theatre, is currently undergoing a $600,000 renovation, and will be unveiled to the public with the start of the Ozark Actors Theatre 2019 season. They are continuing to produce throughout the winter and spring, with their annual dinner theatre event, Apres-Ski, taking place on February 2nd. The Jersey Tenors will be brought to town in March, and they will produce a concert at the Sheldon in May, featuring Ozark Actors Theatre Alum and current Board Member, Tony-nominated actress Taylor Louderman.
