ArtsReach, an education program of The Kentucky Center, will hold its annual showcase of youth performances Saturday, May 21. The Showcase, which is free and open to the public, displays performing arts achievements by youth from local community centers.
WHO:
The Showcase, which is presented by The Kentucky Center and hosted by actor and comedian Keith McGill, will include ArtsReach Dance and Violin Studio students from the Chestnut YMCA, Newburg Community Center, Lighthouse Community Center, Shawnee Boys & Girls Club, Presbyterian Community Center, WESTEC, Oak and Acorn and the Louisville Central Community Center. Instructors include Keith Cook, Portia Muhammad, Harlina Churn Diallo and Treonne Hurst.
The Showcase will also include performances by the Meyzeek Community School and California Community Center Dance Teams, as well as a special performance of Harlem Night at the LCCC Cotton Club by the Louisville Central Community Center Kids Art Academy.

ArtsReach works with community non-profits including libraries, parks, church-based non-profits, boys & girls clubs and neighborhood community centers.
