It's Tony Time at MUSICAL MONDAY & TUESDAY at MTH

The MTH Theater at Crown Center is pleased to announce casting for the upcoming Musical Monday & Tuesday, June 26 and 27. June's program features tunes from the 7 musicals nominated for the 2017 "Best Musical" and "Best Revival of a Musical" Tony Award. Audiences can expect to hear songs from the grounbreaking scores of Dear Evan Hansen, Groundhog Day, Come From Away, The Great Comet, Hello, Dolly!, Falsettos, and Miss Saigon.

The cast, comprised of some of the most prolific and versatile singers in Kansas City, includes Katie Bartow, Lauren Braton, Joseph Carr, John Cleary, Justin McCoy, T. Eric Morris, Christian Thomas Owen, Abby Sharp, and Kayla Wilkens. The five-piece band is led by Musical Director Jeremy Watson on piano, with Joey Panella on bass, Ryan Wurtz on guitar, Michalis Koutsoupides on viloin, and Julian Goff on drums. Now in its 9th Season, Musical Monday & Tuesday is a high-octane musical theatre flavored Cabaret, featuring some of Kansas City's finest performers and musicians. Each Cabaret features a specific theme and is guaranteed to leave you wanting more. The two-night-only event almost always sells out all 244 seats of the Mainstage at The MTH Theater at Crown Center. From Showboat to Hamilton, you'll enjoy a fabulous evening of music exploring the vast and dynamic catalogue of the ever-changing American Musical Songbook.
