Previews begin tomorrow, October 22, for Kansas City Rep's production of Lydia R. Diamond's Harriet Jacobs. Jessica Thebus directs. Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl, originally published in 1861, is Harriet Jacobs' autobiographical story about her journey out of slavery. It is considered to be one of the most important slave narratives of the Abolitionist Movement.
