A confession of a young girl bursting at her welded seams to score big in popularity, this story is filled with the must-haves of every teenage girl's life. With a mother hell bent on God-fearing normalcy, a flaccid father who will bend to her every whim, the fault is not on Mary Sue for what she had to do. At the cost of her friendships, her virginity, her innocence, Mary Sue has been chosen by God. Maybe the conception wasn't so immaculate, but no one important knows that! Until now...
Writer and director Jesse Ray Metcalf, who also brought you Not With a Bang But a Whimper, has revived the original performance into a full-length feature for the launch of Glitter Bang Productions; the first edition won Best of Fest for KC Fringe Festival, 2014 and was the second Most Seen Show of the year! Emma Carter stars as "Mary Sue" with a cast of all power-house talents including Ellen Kirk, Melissa Fennewald, Briana Marxen-McCollum, R.H. Wilhoit, Ai Vy Bui, Alisa Lynn, Damian Blake, J. Will Fritz, and Bonnie Griffin. Conceived in honor of the holy trinity of classic teen movies, Jawbreaker, Clueless, and Mean Girls, (VIRGIN.) is sure to satisfy your sinful desires.
