Putting his career at risk once again, KMBC TV9 chief meteorologist Bryan Busby is set to make another appearance on Right Between the Ears, when the nationally broadcast comedy show presents a live performance at Lawrence's Liberty Hall on Saturday, February 5 at 8:00pm.
"The show's happening right after Groundhog Day, my favorite holiday," said Busby. "In honor of that, if I get no laughs we have six more weeks of winter. If I get plenty of chuckles, spring is just around the corner!"
Still in preparation, the first live RBTE show of 2011 will include the usual stew of take-offs and put-ons, including spoofs of Facebook, TV's Live to Dance, reality TV shows Hoarders and Ice Road Truckers, plus movies like Little Fokkers, The Green Hornet and The King's Speech, as well as the debut of a new adventure serial, Taserman. Also, Bryan Busby will star in another episode of Sparky Blanson, Teenage Weatherman.Tickets for the February 5 RBTE show range from $15.50 to $19.50 and are on sale now at the Liberty Hall box office, 644 Massachusetts, and at the show's website, www.RightBetweentheEars.com.
