"13" is a coming of age, hilarious musical about discovering that "cool" is sometimes where we least expect to find it. "13" is the story of Evan Goldman, who at the age of 12 is plucked from his Jewish surroundings in a preteen New York City life to a small Indiana town, with his mother, following the divorce of his parents. With the change Evan needs to become a part of the complicated social circle at his new school with emotions, laughter and memories providing priceless adventure as he also prepares for his coming Bar Mitzvah.
The award winning, pop rock musical score is by composer Jason Robert Brown and includes: "13" / Becoming a Man", "Hey Kendra", "Getting Ready", "Being a Geek", "Brand New You" and more.
The play features Cam Burns as Evan and Andrew Stout, Darcie Hingula, Margaret Veglahn, Nora Dooley, Mia McManamy, Anna Wenger, Maddie Charles, Alex Leondedis, Tim Lawson, Sam Hoffman, Teyson Gates-Smith and Eli Black; members of the ensemble include: Phil Licata, Cole Braken, Sheridan Mirador, Zach Perez, Claire Segura, Veronica Dervin, Annie Smith, Mycah Williams, Paige Padgett, Senyel Martin and Althea Flores; directed by Jason Coates, musical direction by Todd Gregory.
