Seeking Broadway Actors/Directors for Online Theatre Classes for Students Ages 8–18

Hello,



I work with a theatre arts company based in China, and we are currently seeking actors, directors, or theatre professionals with Broadway experience to teach online acting classes for children and teens ages 8–18.



Classes may be short-term or long-term depending on your availability. The format is flexible and can be negotiated based on your background, strengths, and schedule. Possible class topics include:



Sharing your experience working on Broadway

Explaining what it takes to pursue a career in professional theatre

Critiquing student monologues

Coaching musical theatre performances

Offering acting, audition, and performance advice



Teaching experience is not required, but it is definitely a plus.



The main requirement is that you must have professional Broadway experience and be able to provide proof through a résumé, portfolio, website, Playbill credit, or other professional materials. This is important because your Broadway background will be used as part of the advertising and promotion for the class.



Pay is negotiable and will be discussed based on experience, class format, and availability. Both regular and occasional classes are possible.



Please note that because the students are located in China, classes may need to take place at night or late evening U.S. time due to the time difference.
