ABOUT THE ROLE



The Visual Trimmer is responsible for visually presenting the American Dream look and current trends through merchandising, windows, and in-center displays/activations.



WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

- Execute all designs from concept to display creating a

memorable, visual experience for our guests.

- Arrange all displays and fixtures.

- Maintain inventory levels needed to successfully execute displays

and alterations.

- Order display supplies in preparation for upcoming visual

designs.



WHO YOU ARE

- 2+ years’ experience in visual merchandising, preferably within a

specialty or luxury retail and/or apparel brand

- Bachelor’s or Associates degree in design or equivalent work

experience

- Coursework in merchandise planning, product merchandising,

interior design, branding and marketing communications.

- Effective time management and logical decision-making ability;

ability to prioritize work, maintain a positive attitude and

composure in stressful situations

- Ability to work swiftly in order to meet deadlines while keeping

an orderly space

- Team player; possess a strong work ethic balanced by good

interpersonal skills

- Agile learner with excellent attention to detail

- Must be receptive to feedback

- Visual merchandising experience working in both retail and

wholesale environments

- Ability to stand for 8+ consecutive hours

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and repeated basis

- Ability to climb tall ladders

- Must have reliable transportation and run errands as needed
