Touring Technical Director - The Stander Group, Inc.

The upcoming tour of "All Things Equal: The Life and Trials of Ruth Bader Ginsburg" seeks a technical director to oversee the production on the road. The technical director will be responsible for implementing the current iteration of the production for one-nighters at multiple venues.



Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Oversee the implementation of the show's technical rider at each venue prior to the tour's arrival

- Ensure scenic furniture construction has been completed and meets specifications

- Attend every space changeover, load in and load out with tech-related responsibilities

- Interface with local technical directors, lighting, and sound technicians to ensure the production's lighting and sound design is adhered to



Requirements:

- At least 3 years of professional experience

- Strong organizational, communication, and creative problem-solving skills

- General knowledge of lighting and audio/visual for theatrical productions

- Commitment to safety and professionalism

- Proficiency in QLab is a must



Tour begins in Delray Beach, Florida on February 15 and runs through the end of March with some dates going into April and the beginning of May. The ideal candidate will be available to begin part-time remote work in mid-January prior to the start of the tour.



This is a salaried position with per diem, travel, and hotel provided.
