Children’s Theatre Company (CTC) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Tessitura Systems Administrator. This full-time benefits-eligible position requires someone who has demonstrated expertise in the use of ticketing systems, preferably Tessitura, as well having skills in database management, and the ability to positively contribute to an anti-racist organization and assist in dismantling structural racism in theatre. Applicants for this role should have exceptional attention to detail, keen analytical skills, communication and collaboration skills, and demonstrated time-management, and problem-solving skills.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Tessitura Systems Administrator serves as a part of a collaborative team and provides central management of the Tessitura database, implements processes to ensure data integrity, develops and manages database business rules, manages the integration of Tessitura and TNEW with the organization’s website, and serves as the key source of patron information for the theatre. The position is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures for constituent database management, troubleshooting and quality control, and database integrity (duplicates). This position is one of only a few key power users for Tessitura in the theatre and serves as a source of detailed knowledge and expertise about the database as well as serving as a liaison for the organization to Tessitura. The position will maintain a regular reporting strategy for enhanced and improved use of the Tessitura database to assist with achieving goals.
This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Data Management
• Ensure integrity/accuracy of database records and system functionality
• Troubleshoot all database problems as needed
• Verify accuracy of data in databases
• Ensure confidentiality and reliability of data and proprietary information
• Ensure security for supporter, transactional and financial data
• Serve as primary contact for working with Tessitura and RAMP Reporting and List Management
• Assist staff with questions about complex extractions, lists and exports
• Write and customize Tessitura/SQL reports and Analytics dashboards
• Manage requests for and completion of custom reports for all departments
Serves as database process leader
• Serve as theatre lead in data integrity and database management
o Set guidelines and systems regarding data entry and data usage
o Devise plans for standardizing data entry and ensuring quality control
o Evaluate, develop and maintain centralized procedures for data management and reporting
o Determine business rules for Tessitura, communicate business rules to staff and enforce their use
o Enroll new users and maintain system security
o Control and monitor user access to database
• Provide Tessitura training opportunities and updates for all staff
• Coordinate and plan for future data conversions/upgrades as needed
• Assist in project planning and consult with internal customers on projects, new technologies and deadlines
• Assist in setting and achieving long-term objectives for data services
• Assist with integration of Tessitura with TNEW and Website
• Act as liaison to Accounting, IT and outside vendors related to Tessitura data issues
Season Revenue Forecasting
• Assist, under the guidance of the Director of Marketing, in putting together revenue model for single ticket and subscription seasons
• Compile historical research on shows and determine comparable shows for revenue forecasting purposes
Website Integration
• Manage the integration of Tessitura and TNEW with the organizations website, ensuring that all e-commerce connections and purchase/donation paths are properly built
• Strategize and implement website improvements in collaboration with Director of Marketing and Design and Digital Manager to improve overall website experience for patrons
Collaborate with all staff in the furtherance of CTC’s goal of being an anti-racist theatre that works towards Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
• Encourage and empower everyone to speak out against racist workplace practices and policies
• Study topics that lead to a deeper understanding of how white supremacy, racial violence, and systemic racism have shaped American society and how that shapes CTC’s workplace and the lives of CTC employees
• Positively contribute to the ACT One platform, creating a future where our theatre is a home for all people, all families, reflective of our community

• Demonstrated expertise in use of Tessitura or similar ticketing system, including knowledge of settlement, data pulls, reporting and basic software management
• Advanced working knowledge of SQL-based programs

• Demonstrated skill in formatting tables, creating lists and extractions, managing database rules and reference tables, and system/data analysis
• Demonstrated knowledge of information technology and basic accounting principles
• Demonstrated ability to be accurate in data entry skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Ability to work independently, set priorities and complete work on time and with accuracy
• Commitment to maintain confidentiality and a high degree of accuracy in donor/patron records

COMPENSATION
The starting salary range for this full-time position is between $50,000 and $55,000 annually. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance; short-term and long-term disability and life insurance; vacation and sick leave; nine paid holidays; and a 403(b) retirement savings plan.
