Actors Studio Drama School seeks a resourceful, collaborative, and strategy-minded Technical Director who will manage and oversee the scenic construction, installation, implementation and removal. The Technical Director will supervise overhire carpenters and will coordinate the season's build schedule with Production Management, General Management, and Program Director. The Technical Director is expected to demonstrate strong management skills, collaborate with artistic staff, multi-task, meet deadlines, and exercise independent judgment.
Structured as a full-time, three-year Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program, The Actors Studio Drama School Rep at Pace University is the only master's degree program officially affiliated with The Actors Studio. Third-Year students' thesis productions are produced in repertory style over the course of 6 weeks with the help of industry professionals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
-Strong carpentry skills for theatrical production
-Leadership experience and strong collaboration skills
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-Familiarity with Vectorworks
