Creative Goods Merchandise is currently seeking friendly, enthusiastic, responsible, and reliable individuals to work as Merchandising Sales Associates for a FRIENDS pop-up exhibition in DALLAS. All candidates must be available to commit to working a minimum of 12 hours per week (2 shifts) and be able to work a minimum of 2 weekend shifts per month.
A mandatory training session will be held before the first shift the week of October 25th, 2021. Additional virtual compliance training will be required.
Responsibilities
• Greet patrons and process all merchandise transactions.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures.
• Contribute to the overall sales goals with up-selling skills.
• Maintain working knowledge of products and prices.
• Ensure lines are managed while maintaining enthusiasm and poise.
• Receive, process, and replenish merchandise inventory.
• Effective on-going communication with managers and colleagues and support a collegial work environment.
Basic Qualifications
• Retail experience is desired.
• Strong basic math skills required
• Be able to engage with customers, team members, and management positively.
• Maintain enthusiasm, charisma, and stay focused in routine settings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Must be able to stand on feet for very long periods.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
• Theater and entertainment experience/interest is desired but not necessary.
• The ideal candidate is a quick learner, is engaging, people-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and experience in sales/marketing.

Shifts vary from 5 to 8 hours

All customers and staff are required to wear masks. Uniform mask provided. Staff are encouraged to double mask. High touch areas will be cleaned every 1-2 hours by staff. Social Distancing markers present.
