STAGECREW (PROPS AND COSTUMES)-

Retro Productions is seeking an individual to work STAGECREW for their upcoming AEA Showcase Code of ON THE VERGE by Eric Overmyer directed by Sara Thigpen.



THIS IS A STIPEND ONLY SHOWCASE PRODUCTION. There is a one-time travel stipend for this role of $250.



The production is in rehearsal for a September 9th opening. This role is not needed in rehearsal until Thursday, September 1st. Additional relevant dates include Load In September 5th (please note: this is Labor Day), Tech Week September 5-8, Opening September 9th running through closing September 24th (12 performances total), and Load Out September 25th.



This production rehearses and performs in Manhattan.



Seeking a highly motivated individual with a lot of energy to work backstage directly with the actors. Duties consist of: assisting the Stage Manager pre- and post-show; the handling, washing (when applicable), and appropriate storing of props on a daily basis; the moving and handling of props and set pieces during the performance; assisting actors with dressing, wigs, and quick changes. Additional duties will include the restoration of the theater floor (paint) after load out. You may be asked to wear all black during performances.





FULL COVID-19 VACCINATION IS REQUIRED.
