Millbrook Playhouse, a small professional Summer Stock Theatre in Central PA, is seeking a Company Manager to serve in their 2022 Summer season.



Millbrook Playhouse is a traditional summer theatre housed in a barn with two stages, a 246-seat thrust stage and a 100-seat Cabaret Theatre. The Main Stage season comprises three large-scale musicals, and the Cabaret season consists of three smaller plays.



The Company Manager will be responsible for addressing the needs of the company, maintaining the company calendar, staff correspondence, and arranging travel and accommodations for all staff and actors. As well as arranging the meals for the staff and cast, which includes picking up from local restaurants, helping to set up the kitchen, cleaning up after meals, and any day-to-day issues or emergencies that may arise. The candidate must be highly organized, self-motivated, flexible, and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills. Must have a valid driver+rsquo;s license and like people. A highly competent and caring Company Manager is critical to the success of the summer. Often CM will assist with opening night cast parties and gifts, work with the board of directors on events and help the Artistic Director with audience interactions.

Contracts start on or about May 23rd through August 7th. Some flexibility on the start date.

Weekly pay: $500 BOE.

Housing provided. Shared.

Bus and/or transportation reimbursement to and from Millbrook Playhouse is provided for people traveling from the tri-state area.

Dinner is provided on all working days. (Catered from local restaurants.)



Please note: that all employees must be fully vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus before arrival in P.A. All employees will be required to be tested for the Covid-19 virus and have a negative test result 72 hours before arriving. Proof of negative test shall be required on the day of arrival.
Salary: $500 BOE
