Broadway Asia International, an international producing and general management firm, is accepting internship applications from those interested in international theater management and producing and international licensing and touring. BAI creates and manages musicals, immersive theatrical experiences, non-verbal acrobatic shows, and large-scale spectaculars, in addition to booking and licensing tours worldwide including all across Asia and South America.
Successful applicants will be organized, self-motivated, possess excellent communication and writing skills, and be computer literate. Our office has six active shows opening in Asia over the next two years and the intern will make vital contributions to the shows through various responsibilities including:
-Creative and logistical research
-Petty cash, reimbursement, and credit card reconciliations
-Invoicing
-Travel logistics and calendar management
-Financial and creative reports
-PowerPoint creative work
-Operations assistance
-Social media and other marketing work
-Contracts and misc. filing & organization
-Meeting minutes
The position will begin remotely, and subject to Covid, may continue at some point in our midtown office. Interns must have exceptional English writing skills and must commit to a full-time (M-F, 10a-6p) six-month internship ending in April 2021. Proficiency in Microsoft and Google office applications is a must and QuickBooks / other accounting software a plus. Internship extensions and employment opportunities may be available upon completion of a successful six-month internship. We generally promote from within the company.
