What We Are Looking For
The Senior Coordinator, Waco Hall is responsible for technical operations and event management related to lighting, audio and staging for events in Waco Hall. This position requires the availability to work evenings and weekends as needed. A Bachelor's Degree, one year of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required. A Master's Degree and five years relevant work experience are preferred.
Experience in the following is essential: Fine Arts or Theatre, PC based audio and light design, and a strong customer service acumen. The successful candidate must also be able to use and maintain power tools, stage lighting equipment, stage and house lighting system, special effects equipment, sound reinforcement equipment, portable and fixed installation sound system and audio-visual equipment
What You Will Do
• Supervise all load-ins, setups, rehearsals, performances, strikes, load-outs related to programming
• Manage all aspects for lighting in the hall including inventory, maintenance, design, setup, and implementation of sound reinforcement systems for all event
• Act as house manager, stage manager, technical director, lighting designer/light board operator, and stagehand for programs and events
• Assist with the coordination and provide the technical needs for events (lights, sound systems, drapes, risers, tables, chairs, and portable staging, etc.)
• Assistant and support the installation of all rigging used to raise, lower, or support audio equipment, lighting, backdrop materials, etc. through the use of cables, ropes, blocks, chain motors, etc
• Assist with coordination of event management in advance with clients, promoters, technical director, host staff, etc
• Assist in management of up to 25 student workers
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
