Casting a variety of talents for the "House of Spirits: A Haunted Cocktail Soiree show," coming to your city this fall. Note: The hit Los Angeles show (five stars on yelp!) House of Spirits is a 21+ immersive and interactive theatrical production inside of a macabre mansion. Guests enjoy drinks, live stage shows of music, magicians, and bizarre characters...or they can take their experience to a deeper level by searching the premises and interacting with the characters to find secret clues and hidden objects that reveal a dark, sinister chapter in the history of the house. A truly unique theatrical experience! House of Spirits is essentially an immersive variety show, so we are looking for a wide range of talents. We will be auditioning for particular skills, as well as specific characters.

Improv Actors: Choose one of the “Scary Story Sides” to deliver as a 1 minute monologue.

Or make up a one minute scary story of your choosing to deliver.



What We Are Looking For - Ideal candidates will find a uniquely unsettling character voice and manner when performing the scary story.

Singers: Choose a piece of music, ideally in the classic rock genre, that shows off your vocal range (Approx. 16 bars).



If you play an instrument, you may accompany yourself, or please play a short piece.



What We Are Looking For - Your vocal range, as well as character. Ideal candidates will be able to find a uniquely unsettling character while they perform.

Scare Actors/Movers: The movement in this show is creature based. Show us a predatory animal through movement. Sound: We encourage you to punctuate your character with sound as well. Try not to use words. Get creative beyond the traditional roaring, growling or screeching.



What We Are Looking For - Ideal candidates will have experience as a scare actor in haunts and immersive events. Must be comfortable working in the dark, wearing masks, creature suits and have the stamina to scare all night long!

What We Are Looking For - Ideal candidates will be 6’1” +. Ideal candidates will be comfortable in full costume and masks, as they will be wearing full Hollywood style Creature suits. Ideal candidates will find uniquely unsettling ways to move their body and make sound.

Musicians: Please prepare 16 bars of a piece that shows off your ability to play your instrument.



Please perform ANY instruments you can. We are seeking a variety of instruments. Piano and guitar players are a plus.



What We Are Looking For - Ideal candidates will play an instrument at a professional level. Any instruments (particularly exotic or traditional ones), piano or guitar are a plus. Ideal candidates will be comfortable accompanying a singer. Ideal candidates will have the ability to sing and act as well.

Magicians: We love a classic card trick, but we are hoping to see something more unique and hopefully, unsettling! Open to all styles of magic, including up-close, illusion, and mentalism. Please display your best magic skills.



What We Are Looking For - Ideal candidates will be professional level Magicians with strong up-close magic skills. We are also looking for magicians who can act or play a character.

Spiritualists: Please showcase any of your skills in spiritualism.



What We Are Looking For - We are seeking professional level spiritualists, including tarot card readers, palm readers, psychics or any other style of spiritualism. Ideal candidates will be able to act or play a character.

Burlesque: Prepare choreography and music for a short (1 minute) Burlesque routine.



What We Are Looking For - Ideal candidates will be professional level Burlesque performers that are comfortable with a dark, sinister or macabre edge to their act. Strong acting ability and or athletic skills will be a huge plus.

Specialty Acts: We encourage any unique or extraordinary performance art or acts to apply, showcasing your specific talents.
