Entertainment Manager
TopView Sightseeing is a New York City-based company offering a variety of sightseeing bus tours. We own and manage the portfolio of brands, including TopView Sightseeing, Event Cruises NYC, Liberty Cruise, Bike Rental Central Park, and Attraction Pass. TopView Sightseeing serves over 500k customers annually, creating unforgettable experiences for New Yorkers and visitors. The main function of the Entertainment Manager will be to assist the Director in all daily tasks including, but not limited to, auditions, character/show development, coordinating schedules, managing talent, and researching upcoming talent and opportunities.
Responsibilities
Support all aspects of the Entertainment Department
Manages and provides day-to-day leadership to actors/personnel
Engages in the coordination and execution of a recruitment and audition strategy and schedule that meets the ongoing needs and demands of the business
Conducts auditions to source the best talent based on the needs of each project
Continually analyzes processes and systems and develops strategies for improving future results
Communicates with production teams to anticipate any necessary replacement needs
Assist with costume inventory & procurement
Partner with the Director to develop new content for all aspects of the department
Facilitate and lead rehearsals
Manage coordination for events and shows
Collaborate with other departments for seamless events
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Manage supervisors to ensure a well-organized and cohesive department
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of managing a team of at least 50 People
Exceptionally dependable, reliable, and punctual
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be a motivated, self starter with desire to create magical experiences
Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Computer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Google Docs
Ability to work flexible and extended hours as needed
Must have a reliable smartphone
Must have availability to work weekends and holidays
Salary Range
$75,000 - $95,000
