New Off-Broadway Musical seeks COMPANY MANAGER for its world premiere production opening this fall. Previous experience (3-5 years) as Company Manager and/or Associate/Assistant required.
The Company Manager reports to the Producers and General Manager and manages all aspects of the production.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Directly oversee company management team.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Administer payroll and applicable benefits.
- Audit nightly box office statements and weekly settlements.
- Coordinate and manage transportation and housing for out of town company members.
- Oversee production ticketing (including discount allocations, TKTS, house seat requests, comp requests, etc.)
- Process all vendor payments (Quickbooks)
- Act as the human resources representative, monitor active insurance claims, administer sexual harassment policy, mediate personnel issues and as a COVID compliance officer, keep accurate records and look after the safety and well-being of all company members.
Initial run ends January 2, with the potential for a transfer to another venue in 2022.
Qualified candidates will have a strong understanding of Union Contracts & Bonds (AEA, SDC, USA, Local 802), box office statements and settlements, payroll processing (Checks & Balances), workers’ compensation, ticket & house seats, personnel management and some assistance with marketing. Equally important are a sense of humor, superior communication and problem solving skills, sound judgement, compassion and an even temperament.
