The Williamstown Theatre Festival, one of the most influential not for profit theaters in the country, is now accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Company Manager for the 2017 summer season.
The Seasonal Company Manager shall report directly to the Associate General Manager. Duties include but are not limited to:
Ensuring execution and processing of contracts and tax information for all company members
Supervising Company Management office
Supervision and education of Associate/Assistant Company Managers and Company Management Interns
Update and oversee company database (experience in FileMaker a plus)
Arranging transportation to and from the Festival for all visiting artists
Assigning housing accommodations for a company of 300+ members
Providing local transportation to company members as needed
Providing administrative support for all Festival departments
Helping to create a welcome and vibrant environment for all company members
Planning and executing Festival parties, picnics, and events
Following all Festival safety protocol
Participating in the educational environment of Williamstown Theatre Festival
Other duties as assigned
Ideal candidates will have excellent communication and listening skills, be people oriented and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Company Management department is fast paced but must be well organized and detail oriented. A good sense of humor and the ability to adapt to changing situations is a plus.
