Position Description
DEFINITION: This administrative position is a customer-service and administrative professional responsible for the daily operations of the Wilson Center’s box office.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: Receives direct supervision from Sales & Outreach Manager Provides event-based supervision of ticketing staff, volunteers and works closely with event staff
ESSENTIAL AND OTHER IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS STATEMENTS: Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Essential Functions:
- Manage the daily financial operations of the box office to include: daily reporting, payment reconciliation, deposits, and processing refunds. Work closely with CFCC Business Office and IT departments to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Manage the daily box office communications with ticket holders via email, phone, the Center’s virtual box office and in-person walkup sales
- Serve as assigned as ticketing event lead to execute ticket scanning and distribution, volunteer and staff utilization, ADA ticketing operations, and generally working alongside greater event staff to create a seamless and customer-first brand.
- Support event financial settlement by providing box office reports as well as fulfilling artist and rental client complimentary ticket needs
- Manage inventory and maintenance of physical ticketing equipment to include; ticket scanners, payment terminals, ticket printers, digital payment processing gateways and general office supplies/equipment
- Administer and serve as point of contact for Hello Arts! complimentary tickets
- Support Strategic Partnerships Manager in administering ticketing needs for the Wilson Center’s Member Program as well as high-profile clients
- Continually and proactively create a customer-first environment among ticketing staff and volunteers and refine operations to serve the needs of all customers.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Salary: $3,641.00/monthly
