Associate Director of Individual Giving - Two River Theater

Two River Theater (TRT) seeks a focus and energetic Associate Director of Individual Giving, with sophisticated interpersonal skills, to join the Fundraising team. This position will support work to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors for TRT with a focus on strategies to attract new mid-level prospects and to upgrade current donors’ level of support. In addition, they will manage annual fund campaigns. Experience in development for an arts organization is desirable, as is a strong team orientation and a sense of humor.

• Perform all work in a manner that is consistent with Two River’s core values, including our commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA);
• Build and maintain relationships with current donors and prospects via phone calls, ongoing written contact, personalized emails and personal invitations to events;
• Project manage annual fund campaigns which includes generating a message and intent, working with Marketing and other departments to create and execute collateral, pulls recipient lists, and manage timelines; • Manage and oversee the daily administrative tasks for donor stewardship including fulfillment of benefits, communications, event invitations and recognition to ensure an excellent donor experience; • Define and implement strategies to move smaller-level donors to larger gifts;
• Support high-level strategy for creating a robust donor pipeline;
• Research, cultivate, solicit and steward corporate sponsors, as well as manage benefit fulfillment and other related administrative tasks • Collaborate with the Director of Development on TRT’s planned giving program;
• Remain up to date on fundraising trends including the many aspects of gift stewardship including planned giving and donation upgrades;
• And work collaboratively with entire development staff to ensure the maximization of all donor giving opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Has fundraising experience, either with individuals and/or institutional entities;
• Proven track record with increasing responsibility and measurable success against goals;
• Has a genuine interest in theater and or the arts and culture sector;
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Is comfortable working with technology, such as Monday.com, SharePoint, Canva and Spektrix (experience in Spektrix preferred);
• Ability to perform complex administrative tasks with autonomy;
• Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail; 
• Thrives in a collaborative work environment; 
• Has the ability to work nights and weekends, at times.
